Father's Day – Fun Corkboards!

Brighten Dad’s desk this Father’s Day with some super cute corkboards! Follow our templates or come up with your own designs.

  • Step 1Use a scalpel/box cutter to cut a piece of construction foam the same size as a piece of cork sheet. Adult supervision is recommended when using a scalpel.
  • Step 2Glue the two sheets together using tacky glue and a glue brush. Allow to dry.
  • Step 3Cut out and trace your chosen template onto the foam side of the sheet, then use a scalpel to carefully cut the shape out. If you wish to create your own design, simply draw your shape straight onto the construction foam then cut it out.
  • Step 4Use masking tape to carefully create a border around your design. Tear and stick pieces all around the edge, folding them over as you go. This will also help to hold the foam and cork together.
  • Step 5Colour the border of masking tape using coloured markers.
  • You could even add a touch of sparkle using CleverGlitz and a glue brush. This will also help to seal the coloured marker so it won’t rub off. Allow to dry.
  • Step 6Add a jute twine hanger to your cork board – ready to hang!
