Trapeze Chickens

Have you ever seen a chicken on a trapeze? 
Create this fun DIY toy and watch as the chickens flip and spin around and around!

This activity is perfect to use in conjunction with the book 'Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas' by Lucinda Gifford and published by Scholastic Australia.

  • Step 1Print out the template provided. Use pencils, POSCA markers and CleverPatch glitter glue to decorate your template. We have chosen to make our template look like Whitney! Allow to dry. Cut out your template. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 2Glue your template to the body, arms and legs of the Sloth CleverKit. Make sure you glue a template to the front and back of each piece. Allow to dry.
  • Step 3Add holes in your template that align with the holes on the Sloth CleverKit. Attach the arms and legs using the split pins provided.
  • Step 4Use the instruction sheet within the CleverKit to construct your Trapeze Chicken Diva. Now your Chicken Diva is ready to perform!
